My Fitness Journey

Hello and welcome to a little insight of my fitness journey from 2016 till now!
So I started working out in the gym in 2016 and it’s safe to say that was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Not only did working out regularly make me feel healthier, it also make me feel so much more confident and as though I was able to be comfortable in my own skin for the first time in a long while. It also gave me a boost in my mental state and helped give me a positive mental attitude when it came to college and other general things in life.

I’ve always been quite offended by the stereotype of girls doing cardiovascular exercises and males typically doing weightlifting exercises like, I can lift too! I’m not some weak little girl that you think I am. I constantly  (and sometimes still do) got compared to other ‘skinny’ people, which to be honest can be just as offensive as calling someone fat.
