End Your Week Stress-free with This Pampering Guide




Hello! Welcome to my weekly pampering routine!
So, you’ve had a stressful week in college or work or whatever and now it’s finally Friday.  Don’t know how to properly chill out for the weekend? This is a list of things that I do to help kickstart myself into a relaxing, stress-free environment.


1) Get everything done
In order to feel stress free, make sure that everything you need to be done is done. This can be stuff like sending off emails for work or assignments for school or college just make sure that all of the important and stressful things are out of the way. This is going to extend the relaxing amount of time that you’ll have across the weekend.


2) Get organised
Another tip is that you get yourself organised. Tidy your room, make it look pretty, Get anything that will remind you of work out of the way, this is time for pampering, you don’t need to see that. Doing this will ensure that a unclean and unorganised bedroom/house will not be a worry this weekend.


3) Put on fresh bedding.

Nice, fresh clean bedding. If this doesn’t help to relax then I don’t know what will. Yes this is my bed, tell me that doesn’t make you want to dive face first into it!


4) Take a looong, warm bath


This is the best step. Grab your fluffiest pyjamas, fluffy socks or slippers, some bubble bath, a shower cream, a bath bomb, candles  and a face mask. Run your bath so it’s the perfect temperature, slap on the face mask and zone out. Usually when I do this I don’t want to move and stay there for about an hour. But tell yourself that it’s okay because, well, you’re relaxing aren’t you? This bath is going to make you feel super pampered and fresh, and if you’re anything like me, nothing feels better than feeling clean. This is the face mask which I use, yes it’s painful but it also removes all dead skin and blackheads and leaves your face feeling super soft.


5) Set an atmosphere


Light every candle you own (with care, fires are stressful), turn out the lights and put on some soft music. Nothing sounds better. Have some time to yourself, lay there and forget about your troubles, let the atmosphere swallow you and get lost in the moment. You could even try some meditation if you’re into that.


6) Grab a book or put on your favourite movie
Usually, you won’t have time for things like this during a busy week. Indulging in one of your hobbies or a favourite movie or TV show will really let you feel relaxed.



7) Treat yourself
This one might not be ideal for everyone, but treat yourself! Grab that phone, open up Justeat and order yourself a nice takeaway with a glass of your favourite wine. Relaxation time doesn’t involve cooking, it invovles other people cooking for you. Duh.



8) Have a lie in
End your night by telling yourself that you will have a lie in, and it will be the most amazing lie in you’ll ever have, so enjoy it while it’s here.

10 Cheap and Easy Date Night Ideas

I’m in a relationship and I know how difficult it can be to think of any effective date nights that are cheap, easy and special to you and your partner. I often found myself googling things to do for date nights, but often faced with answers such as ‘go to Paris for the weekend’ and I mean, that’s not very realistic or affordable, so enjoy my list of cheap date nights that are hopefully easier than going to Paris!


1) Movie, Snacks and Wine
Honestly one of my favourite date nights. You don’t have to worry about going out and dressing up or facing other people, all you need is you, Your bed, your loved one and food to make one of the most memorable dates. This is also extremely cheap, you can gather up some food from around the house and get a cheap bottle of wine, my favourite is Silverbay Rosè which is only £3 from Tesco. What a steal.


2) Quiet walk
Either around a nature reserve or a park near you, it’s always good to have some fresh air and stretch your legs every once in a while. …
