2018 Goals


2017 wasn’t one of my most productive years, I’ll admit. I regret letting my college exams and work get on top of me and making me worry constantly through the whole year, I regret not taking fitness as seriously as I probably should have and overall just feeling like the year was wasted. I’m setting myself these goals because I know 2018 I must improve to be a better person for not only myself but to show others I’m more than this. Here’s a list of things I’m going to try and achieve before 2019.


1) Study with consistency 
 Instead of waiting around for exams, I’m going to start revision early and slowly progress in my work. This means attending college on a more regular basis and using my spare time more wisely instead of playing video games and sleeping all day. If I study enough I know my grades will improve and it’ll all be worth it in the end, besides I’ll be getting a gap year soon so I may aswell focus while I have the chance. 

2) Focus on fitness
 I’ve been lazy with the gym at the end of 2017, I started to become very regular and went a minimum of four days a week. I saw so much progress and gained the weight I wanted, but then I just let all of it go. Less McDonald’s, more gym therapy for me in 2018. 

3) Love more 
I’ve always been a person who hates quite a lot of things. This year I want to change this list into things I love. Be more optimistic and open minded when it comes to friendships, socialising and let go of my anxiety. 

4) Get organised 
 I need to clear out my room, like properly. I’ve been dying to do this for months, I always get half way through and then give up, leaving things literally just as cluttered as before! I have so much stuff I don’t need but for some reason I just don’t want to let go of it. Get a grip jeez. 

5) Do something I know I’ll love 
Technically I’m already doing this by starting a blog. It’s something that I’ve really always wanted to do but never seemed to get around to it because I was too scared. I’m still worried that this won’t take off, but if it does I’ll be forever grateful. The purpose of this blog is for me to show other people who are like me that not everything is so perfect. Life is hard, skills are hard and things aren’t always black and white like most bloggers make things. We all go through difficult times so whatever, let’s talk about it, embrace it together and everything won’t seem so bad if we know there’s others going through the same stuff.

  2. 2017 was not so good for me either. I intend to make 2018 better. I should focus on fitness and eating healthier! and also on blogging! xx corinne

  3. These are some great and positive goals for 2018! Your 2017 seems very similar to mine, I was so unmotivated last year for some reason but this year I'm feeling so driven for the future!
